Mbafan lived with the suspect on Bolanle Oduniyi Street, Okegbegun, in the Ikorodu range of the state.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, in an instant message, said,
"I affirm the case. The suspect is under scrutiny while the body has been saved in a funeral home for post-mortem examination."
