Ogun State Police Command has captured a 63-year-old man, Korede Odubela, for professedly executing his 16-year-old stepdaughter, Amudat Oshimodi, for custom purposes.

The suspect was said to have schemed with another associate, Lekan Lawal, to carry out the wrongdoing at Imosan town, in the Odogbolu Local Government Area of the state.

The two suspects were among the 12 suspects paraded at the charge central command, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Tuesday by the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, for different offenses, including equipped theft, thievery and taking.

Iliyasu said Odubela, who was the pioneer of the posse, schemed with Lawal to choke Oshimodi, after which they sold her head and hands to custom executioners.

The police chief said the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad got data about their exercises and swooped on them on Monday, November 7, 2016.

Odubela said he schemed with Lawal to execute his stepdaughter on the grounds that the 16-year-old young lady was continually taking her mom's cash.

He said,

"The mother said we ought to murder her as a give up for other kids she had. She (Oshimodi) typically rested by the outside entryway. On that day, around 12 midnight, I welcomed Lekan Lawal, and he held the young lady by the neck and choked her while I held her legs."

Odubela said he sold Amudat's go to his child, Seun, a botanist who paid him N3,000, as part installment.

In any case, Odubela's better half, Fausat, denied requesting that her significant other execute her girl.

Iliyasu said the case was still under scrutiny, while the cadaver of Amudat had been stored at the mortuary of the Ijebu Ode General Hospital.
