Minister assaults 17-year-old young lady in the wake of imagining he was blessing her (photograph)

A minister, Adekunle Francis, has been captured by the Ogun State Police Command at Ipamesan, Sango Ota, for professedly assaulting a 17-year-old young lady, Dolapo. The suspect, who was captured on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, was said to have baited the young lady into an uncompleted working under the appearance of appealing to God for and blessing her. When they entered the uncompleted building, the minister was said to have turned on the young lady and assaulted her. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the casualty later reported her experience at the Sango Police Station, including that the Divisional Police Officer, Akinsola Ogunwale, instantly dispatched a group of criminologists to the scene where the suspect was quickly captured. He said, "On cross examination, the presume admitted to the wrongdoing. He told policemen at the Sango Police Division that the demonstration was the work of the fallen angel." Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, had requested the quick exchange of the case to the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labor Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Abeokuta, for further examination.
