Eden Hazard and Diego Costa recover from injury ahead of promising trip to Middlesbrough
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has confirmed that both Diego Costa (£10.5m) and Eden Hazard(£10.1m) are available for selection ahead of the trip to Middlesbrough on Sunday.
Costa was ruled out of Spain duties over the international break due to a groin problem, while Hazard was withdrawn during Belgium’s win over Estonia after suffering a knock to the calf.
Hazard has provided his owners with five goals and 49 points over his last four Gameweeks to sit on top of the overall FPL rankings.
Costa has returned four goals in his last five Gameweeks and continues to avoid a fifth yellow card that would lead to a one-match ban.
The pair could be part of unchanged Chelsea line-up as Conte seeks a sixth successive victory and clean sheet.
Jurgen Klopp has concerns ahead of Liverpool's visit to Southampton.
Adam Lallana (£7.2m) was replaced during England’s 2-2 draw against Spain earlier in the week, while FPL managers will be worried by reports that Philippe Coutinho (£8.7m) - the most popular player in Fantasy Premier League with 47% ownership - has had scans on a tight hamstring after playing two matches during the international break.
If both do not start, Klopp could recall Georginio Wijnaldum (£7.5m) and Daniel Sturridge (£9.8m), withRoberto Firmino (£8.7m) perhaps shifting to the left to accommodate Sturridge as a lone striker.
Arsene Wenger is pondering whether to select Alexis Sanchez (£11.3m) for Arsenal’s visit to Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime.
The Chilean recovered from a hamstring problem in midweek, scoring twice in his nation’s win over Uruguay in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
But the Arsenal manager will be mindful of any further injury ahead of a UEFA Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
Wenger will have to do without Hector Bellerin (£6.6m) this weekend after the Spaniard was ruled out with an ankle injury.
His absence could allow Carl Jenkinson (£5.0m) a first appearance of the Premier League season, providing FPL managers with a new cheap route into the Gunners' defence.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (£11.1m) is suspended for the Arsenal encounter after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season against Swansea City.
The striker will serve a one-match ban, which may mean that Marcus Rashford (£6.8m) is handed a recall after dropping to the bench at the Liberty Stadium.
Wayne Rooney (£8.6m) could retain his role in the first XI after being passed fit from a knee injury sustained during the international break.
The Red Devils captain played on the wing against the Swans and supplied a pair of assists in his first start since Gameweek 5.
Mourinho’s options in defence are also boosted by the return of Luke Shaw (£5.4m).
The defender offers an option at left-back and if he features then Daley Blind (£5.8m) could move to centre-back, while Matteo Darmian (£5.0m) competes with Ashley Young (£5.2m) for a place at right-back.
