There was disorder in Adigbe region, Abeokuta, Ogun State, yesterday morning, as a documenting station, having a place with Rabeng Petroleum, went up on fire, killing two people while seven others, including a seven-year-old kid, were fundamentally harmed. 

An observer told Vanguard that the fire came about because of gas blast that happened while a neighborhood welder was completing a repair work at the filling station. 

Vanguard accumulated that seven stopgap shops, one cruiser, and a get vehicle were demolished in the inferno that took a few hours for flame warriors and other security offices time to put out. 

Talking with newsmen at the scene of the occurrence, the Director of State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Mr. Shakiru Adebakin, said the fire occurrence was a man-made mistake that could have been turned away if the proprietor of the filling station had taken after a straightforward assurance component. 

He said that the proprietor of the filling station ought to have realized that it wasn't right to have permitted a welding to happen in the station and if such welding would occur by any means, certain careful steps should have been set up. 

Likewise speaking, Ogun State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Aboluwoye Akinwande, while describing how the occurrence happened, stated: "toward the beginning of today (yesterday), there was discharge at one of the filling stations at Adigbe and promptly our officers and men rapidly went there. 

"On arriving, we found that a specific welder was attempting to work near a gas filling plant. 

It burst into flames and spread. Two individuals have been affirmed dead, while seven were genuinely harmed." He said the harmed ones are right now getting treatment at the General Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta.
